AMAC Originals Presents Stella n’ the Loft at The Glasshouse Ashford Feb 15

It is with great joy that we bring you Stella n’ the Loft. This Ashford band have really come in to their own in recent years with the release of their albums “Journeys” and “What Would You Say…?” The husband and wife song writing team of Jim and Stella provide the band with their personal and heartfelt views of life and their surroundings, married to uplifting melodies that rest delightfully on an earthy acoustic bed. The band has had many changes to its personnel, but have finally found the perfect mix of talent to bring these tenderly crafted songs to life. Jim and Stella wrote these songs as an acoustic duo, giving them quite an English folk flavor. Which works surprisingly well with the very strong country sounding guitar line provided by Rob Brown. I have on many occasions affectionately described their sound as allotment music. By this I mean it has a very out door on an English summers day feeling about it and for me, that conjures up the image of digging in my veggie patch. What you picture is up to you. But what I can defiantly tell you is that they are a band worth watching. You’ll love them.
